Strings and Things is a program designed to introduce Elementary School aged kids to the joys of Fibre Arts. In this class, children will practice simple techniques to weave, sew, embroider, knit, macrame, and experiment with natural dyes. Projects are colourful, exploratory and age-appropriate, and include handmade books, mini wall hangings, baskets, friendship bracelets, and stuffies. Galit’s teaching style encourages positivity, enthusiasm, and creative exploration, using yoga, mindfulness, imaginative play, and lots of art making!
